Prkno je výsledkem prosby našich jezdců Torgeira Bergrema, Matea Massitti, Seana Miskimana, Yuto Yamady a Griffina Sieberta, kteří chěli mít pod nohama něco víc hravýho a obratnýho především do prachu, ale i na sjezdovku, něco, s čím si užije zábavu profík i zelenáč. Vyklubavší se Alternator tě nadchne v hlubokém sněhu, ve kterém nebudeš mít díky přizvednuté patce problém profrčet ani na switch. S Directional tvarem a extra šířkou tě v tyhle radostné dny nic nezastaví.

What is the difference between the Nitro Alternator and a traditional freeride snowboard?The Alternator combines freeride stability, float, and edge control with more freestyle-focused pop, maneuverability, and landing support. It is designed for riders who want to hit jumps and natural features rather than only carve and ride directional lines.
Is the Nitro Alternator good for freestyle riding?Yes. The Alternator is designed specifically for all-mountain and backcountry freestyle. Its Powerlite Core, Carbon Tape, traditional camber, functional tail, and supportive flex create strong pop, stable takeoffs, and dependable landings on jumps and natural features.
Is the Nitro Alternator good for carving?Yes. Trüe Camber provides powerful edge hold and stability, while the Dual Degressive Sidecut creates responsive control underfoot with smooth turn initiation and release. The progressive width also reduces toe and heel drag during deep carves.
Can the Nitro Alternator be ridden switch?Yes. Although the Alternator is directional and performs best in its intended direction, its functional tail allows riders to take off, land, and ride switch when needed. It is not as symmetrical switch as a true twin park snowboard.

Alternator je moje srdcovka, protože tohle prkno prostě zvládá všechno. Dokáže bejt pohodově uvolněný, ale když jde do tuhýho, můžeš se spolehnout na jeho agresivního ducha. Ví přesně, co od něj chceš a je mu jedno, co si pro něj připravíš.
Co mě ale stále udivuje, je jeho bezprecedentní stabilita ve vysokých rychlostech, na velkých skocích a v rozbombeném terénu.

Reflex Core Profile

A thinner core between your feet on Nitro’s Reflex Core Profile improves handling and increases torsional flex, allowing you to steer your board through a turn with ease.

Mid-Wide

Mid-Wide boards provide that little extra in width for less toe and heel drag, additional flotation and that extra bit of confidence when leaning into these power carves on icy slopes.

Dual Degressive Sidecut

Nitro’s Dual Degressive Sidecut blends a smaller radius in the center with two larger ones in the tip and tail, making it loose and playful. Nitro´s most forgiving sidecut.

Sintered Speed Formula II Base

Rocket science put to work! Nitro’s Sintered Speed Formula II Base uses a nano-scale wax formula infused deep into the base material for lightning-fast glide across changing snow conditions. Highly tunable and extremely durable, it is exclusively featured on Nitro’s premium high-performance snowboards.

Recycled Steel Edge

Nitro’s Recycled Steel Edge is made of 5% recycled steel, strong, durable and designed with enough meat to give your board a tune-up season after season.

Bi-Lite Laminates

Nitro’s rider-trusted Bi-Lite Laminates are engineered for dependable strength and refined board feel. The bi-directional fiberglass layup delivers balanced response, consistent flex, and versatile performance across a wide range of riding styles.

Powerlite Core

The highest grade of selected ultra-lightweight poplar wood in Nitro’s Powerlite core makes for the perfect ride with lots of pop and unmatched strength at a minimum weight.

ABS Sidewalls

Nitro’s ABS sidewalls are made from 35% recycled polymers and are designed to be cold-resistant and durable.

Carbon Tape

Carbon tape is used for longitudinal reinforcement, providing direct power transfer.
