Nová Ika je první holčičí vlaštovkou naší Quiver série. Vznikla ve spolupráci se stájovou jezdkyní Christy Prior, která miluje surf stejně jako jízdu v prašanu. Ika nabízí perfektní flow, hravost, hbitou stabilitu a snadnou ovladatelnost pro všechny jezdkyně, které zbožňují svižnou jízdu v čerstvém sněhu. Vlaštkovkovitý tvar s přizvednutou tapered špičkou zajistí rychlý přechod z hrany na hranu a plynulé navazování oblouků i v hodně hlubokém sněhu. Ika je prkno pro všechny holky, které mají dobrodružství a smysl pro objevování zakódované hodně hluboko.

Is This For You?
- Can the Nitro Ika be used on groomed runs?Yes. The Ika is more versatile than a powder-only snowboard. Its Cam-Out Camber provides reliable edge hold and stability, while the Progressive Sidecut supports smooth, powerful carving on groomed and variable snow.
- Is the Nitro Ika only for women?The Ika was developed as part of Nitro’s women’s snowboard collection with Christy Prior. However, snowboard selection should ultimately be based on rider weight, boot size, preferred terrain, and riding style rather than gender alone.
- Does the Nitro Ika ride longer than a normal 152 snowboard?The Ika provides more flotation than a traditional 152 cm all-mountain snowboard because of its large nose, mid-wide platform, taper, and swallowtail. However, its reduced running length and responsive shape allow it to remain quick and maneuverable.

Tapered Swallowtail
A wider nose and narrower tail make the board float evenly through powder and cut through the occasional crust. The deeply cut swallowtail reduces the rearward board surface even more for improved control and reduced rear leg burn.
Cam-Out Camber
Our Cam-Out Camber is basically a Trüe Camber with early and smooth transitions into tip and tail. The result is a fun and responsive board that turns on the spot and is forgiving, even after that 713.5° landing!
Reflex Core Profile
A thinner core between your feet on Nitro’s Reflex Core Profile improves handling and increases torsional flex, allowing you to steer your board through a turn with ease.
Mid-Wide
Mid-Wide boards provide that little extra in width for less toe and heel drag, additional flotation and that extra bit of confidence when leaning into these power carves on icy slopes.
Progressive Sidecut
A larger radius in the front, blended into a tighter one towards the tail: The Progressive Sidecut makes accelerating out of turns a breeze, while maintaining a catch-free nose area.
Recycled Steel Edge
Nitro’s Recycled Steel Edge is made of 5% recycled steel, strong, durable and designed with enough meat to give your board a tune-up season after season.
Bi-Lite Laminates
Nitro’s rider-trusted Bi-Lite Laminates are engineered for dependable strength and refined board feel. The bi-directional fiberglass layup delivers balanced response, consistent flex, and versatile performance across a wide range of riding styles.
ABS Sidewalls
Nitro’s ABS sidewalls are made from 35% recycled polymers and are designed to be cold-resistant and durable.
Ecopoxy33
Ecopoxy33 is our bio-based epoxy resin that reduces the carbon footprint of our boards.
Ecoguard Topsheet
Our Ecoguard Topsheet is made from 9% recycled materials and provides a transparent, durable finish.
Powercore II
Nitro’s Powercore II is a tip-to-tail poplar wood core with additional beech wood stringers for unrivalled strength, smooth response, and insane pop.
Sintered EcoSpeed HD Base
Utilizing a recycled material compound, we have been able to achieve the same abrasion resistance, increased wax absorption and on-snow speeds with Nitro’ Sintered EcoSpeed HD base as on other comparable sintered bases.
