TLS Lacing

Nitro is leading the pack with the TLS lacing system: Two independent lacing zones, quickly tightened and safely locked in place by a compact and lightweight mechanism with the reliability proven by tens of thousands of days on the mountain. Specifically designed, low abrasion Dyneema® laces, easy-entry handle storage pockets as well as our Bail Out system for effortless lace release round off the most developed dual lacing system on the market.

Low Profile Real Rubber Outsole

This lightweight and low-lot outsole has been developed to combine a highly effective traction pattern with a flexible overall shape. Its design will allow you to tweak and roll your foot like on a surfboard while providing the traction to hike the steep stuff. Made from up to 30% of recycled rubber (depending on sole color).

Interlock System

Developed to help keep the liner heel in one place and eliminate any kind of heel slippage or lifting. This ladder unit helps connect the liner heel to the shell to help generate the world's best foothold. Say goodbye to heel slipping and hello to all-day comfort and foothold.

Liner Tech

Pre-Molded Thermacell

All Nitro Liners are constructed from Thermacell material, using Nitro specific lasts designed with decades of experience in snowboard boot design. This ensures long lasting fit and comfort without fatigue and boot pack-out.

Heat Moldable

Our Thermacell material will adapt to your foot’s shape over time, simply by wearing your boots out riding. If you still feel the need to custom-fit your boots, this can easily be done by heat molding your liners either in shop, using a specific heating system and tools, or even at home.

Patented Re/Lace Liner Locker

The Re/Lace Liner Locker provides a secure and true liner lace lock every time, while additional allowing for easy adjustability of your inner boot lacing when your boot shell is already tied, by simply pulling up on the lace handle. This allows you to (re)tighten your liner and foothold throughout the day (wherever you may find yourself on the mountain) without having to untie your boots shell lacing system.

DLS (Direct Lacing System)

Directly connected to the liner, the DLS also features Dyneema® loaded low-friction laces on selected models for ultimate fit and comfort.

Support Frame

To compliment our DLS liner lacing, we are building a reinforced support frame around the liner’s outside. It keeps the liner in shape and provides constant flex and durability.

3D Shaped Tongue

The liner tongue is in direct contact with the foot’s most sensible are – the instep. We carefully construct this part of the liner, using multiple pieces and materials, to achieve the best possible combination of comfort and foot enclosure.

3D Heel Construction

Let’s face it: heel lift sucks. This is why we are going through the effort of custom-building a 3D shaped heel pocked into our liners. The result is a positive heel lockdown, but with comfort and ergonomic feel.

Latex Memory Pads

We spend a lot of time on the material composition, design, and positioning of our signature Latex Memory Pads. They are one of our key liner features and will keep your ankle area comfortable and supported all day long.

Flex Toe

A Nitro industry first over two decades ago, often copied but never equaled: A flexible material is used to build the toe area of our liners, allowing for size variations and a equal fit left and right. And since your toes can move more feely not being crammed into a stiff toe box, they will stay warmer all day long.
