An Early-Season Snowboard Field Trip to the Italian Alps

Sometimes you don’t need much of a plan. Just a van, a few snowboards, and snow on the forecast.

As the first real storms of the season began rolling through the Alps, Yanneck Konda and Maxi Preissinger loaded up the Nitro Van and pointed it south toward Italy.

The mission was simple: follow the snow.

POLNEVE is a short film documenting an early-season snowboard field trip through the Italian Alps in search of fresh powder, new terrain, and everything that makes a snowboard trip worth taking in the first place.

No packed itinerary. No major production. Just chasing weather, exploring unfamiliar mountains, drinking good coffee, eating good food, experiencing a different culture, and making the most of whatever the mountains provided.

Because sometimes the best snowboard trips are the ones where the destination is only part of the reason you go.
