Tech Details

Air Dampening

Nitro’s Air Dampening is the lightest shock-absorbing technology on the planet, it absorbs hard landings and keeps your heels from getting bruised. This noticeable difference in ride and comfort does not sacrifice any response and control while allowing you to ride longer.

3° Canted Footbed

The canting puts your knees and body in the most natural and ergonomic position on the board. So, stay out longer and ride longer!

Universal Mini Disc

Nitro’s Mini Disc offers a smaller footprint for more natural board flex. The snap feature lets you set and lock your binding angle for quick, consistent mounting every time. Compatible with the Burton Channel® system.

Übergrip PRO Toe Strap

Nitro’s Übergrip Pro toe strap features a lightweight, 3D-injected mold with an interior grip pad for a secure fit, grip, and support. It conforms to any boot's toe box, with a rubber component that stays in place regardless of landings or weather.

Cable Reinforced Connectors

Nitro’s Cable Reinforced Connectors feature internal stainless-steel cables running through the binding ladder straps for added strength, reduced stretch, and dependable durability.

Speed Wheel 3.0 Buckles and Ratchets

Nitro’s Speed Wheel's evolution features a new tooth design for smooth engagement and release. Made from durable material, it endures cold without performance loss, offering reliable support, ease of use, and precision on the mountain.

3D OptiFrame Flex Ankle Strap

Nitro’s 3D OptiFrame Flex is an all-mountain ankle strap designed for riders seeking response, comfort, and durability. Its anatomically shaped, injection-molded construction wraps around the boot for a secure fit and power transfer. Made from high-grade polyurethane, the lightweight design offers support and reduces fatigue during demanding all-mountain riding.
