TLS Lacing
Nitro is leading the pack with the TLS lacing system: Two independent lacing zones, quickly tightened and safely locked in place by a compact and lightweight mechanism with the reliability proven by tens of thousands of days on the mountain.
Specifically designed, low abrasion Dyneema® laces, easy-entry handle storage pockets as well as our Bail Out system for effortless lace release round off the most developed dual lacing system on the market.
EVA Midsole
Used on all boots with rubber outsoles, the EVA midsole reduces the overall weight and provides cushioning and thermal insulation.
Therminator Shield
This reflective thermal layer between sole and liner will reflect your body heat and keep your feet warm all day.
Armored Spine
We are using an anatomically shaped and 3D molded heel reinforcement to provide even boot flex and long-lasting heel fit.
Molded TLS Lace Gliders
Strategically placed molded Lace Gliders on the boots lacing eyelets reduce friction to a minimum for more defined and powerful lacing.
Nitro Step On® Outsole
Our 100% Step On® compatible rubber outsole will interface perfectly with any Step On® binding on the market for an effortless boot-to-binding engagement. At the same time, it provides a highly effective traction pattern with an abrasion-resistant high-grip rubber compound for durability and a perfect grip. Made from up to 30% of recycled rubber (depending on sole color).

Micro Adjustable Heel Lock Pro
Firmly integrated into the boot shell, this harness secures the ankle area of the liner and provides superior fit. Operated from the outside by a BOA® H5 dial, the system can be tightened and opened loosened on the fly. On Step On boot models, you will experience the same ankle lock as with conventional binding straps.

Pre-Molded Thermacell
Tous les chaussons Nitro sont fabriqués en Thermacell, avec des formes spécifiques Nitro, fruit de décennies d'expérience dans la conception de chaussures de snowboard. Cela garantit un ajustement et un confort durables, sans fatigue ni affaissement des chaussures.
Heat Moldable
Notre matériau Thermacell s'adaptera à la forme de votre pied au fil du temps, simplement en portant vos bottes à cheval. Si vous souhaitez néanmoins personnaliser vos bottes, vous pouvez facilement les thermoformer en atelier, à l'aide d'un système de chauffage et d'outils spécifiques, ou même à la maison.
Patented Re/Lace Liner Locker
Le système Re/Lace Liner Locker assure un laçage sûr et fiable du chausson à chaque fois, tout en permettant un réglage facile du laçage intérieur de votre chaussure, même lorsque la coque est déjà lacée, en tirant simplement sur la poignée. Vous pouvez ainsi (re)serrer votre chausson et votre pied tout au long de la journée (où que vous soyez en montagne) sans avoir à défaire le laçage de la coque.
3D Shaped Tongue
La languette du chausson est en contact direct avec la zone la plus sensible du pied : le cou-de-pied. Nous concevons cette partie du chausson avec soin, en utilisant plusieurs pièces et matériaux, pour obtenir la meilleure combinaison possible de confort et de maintien du pied.
3D Heel Construction
Soyons honnêtes : les talons qui glissent sont agaçants. C'est pourquoi nous avons intégré un renfort de talon 3D à nos chaussons. Résultat : un maintien optimal du talon alliant confort et ergonomie.
Response ExoFrame
Une armature externe, fabriquée dans un matériau souple et offrant un bon maintien, améliore la précision dans certaines zones et soulage la pression dans d'autres, laissant toujours suffisamment d'espace pour bouger. L'ingénierie des bottes à votre service.
Tongue Velcro Closure
Une fermeture Velcro intégrée fermant le haut de la doublure, pour une meilleure laçage de la chaussure et un ajustement parfait.
Latex Memory Pads
Nous consacrons une grande attention à la composition, à la conception et au positionnement de nos coussinets en latex à mémoire de forme. Ces coussinets sont l'une de nos principales caractéristiques et assurent confort et maintien de votre cheville tout au long de la journée.
Flex Toe
Une première dans l'industrie Nitro il y a plus de vingt ans, souvent copiée mais jamais égalée : un matériau flexible est utilisé pour la zone des orteils de nos chaussons, permettant des variations de pointure et un ajustement égal à gauche comme à droite. Et comme vos orteils bougent plus facilement sans être coincés dans une zone rigide, ils resteront plus chauds toute la journée.
