The Step On® System creates a fast, secure boot-to-binding connection without traditional straps. Simply step in and ride for convenient entry, responsive support, and dependable board control. Faster transitions mean less time sitting down and more time chasing first tracks and exploring the mountain.

Step On® Highback

Nitro’s Step On® Highback features a responsive asymmetrical shape for precise support, natural movement, and confident control. Its integrated entry funnel guides the boot into place for smooth, easy Step On® entry and exit.

Re:Flex Mounting System

The Re: Flex Mounting system increases the snowboard's natural board flex under the binding and reduces the binding's overall weight. This system is compatible with all board mounting options.

Universal Compatibility

Nitro Step On® bindings are compatible with 4x4, 3D, and Channel insert patterns for easy mounting on a wide range of snowboards.

Hook 2.

Integrated into the binding baseplate, the spring-loaded Toe Hooks capture the boot’s Toe Cleats with a single downward step, ensuring fast and reliable entry. These parts are also replaceable.

HYPER Foam

Nitro´s HYPER Foam is a lightweight footbed construction using the same materials found in running shoes to offer all-day comfort for snowboarding. This design redirects the stored energy into a positive burst of power and control when entering and exiting turns, allowing for greater agility and responsiveness.
