Apriamo il nostro cerchio di design per dare vita a idee nuove, fuori dagli schemi – e spesso geniali. Primo guest shaper? Una leggenda dell heritage Nitro: Drew Hicken, OG del team, che firma una tavola tributo alla mitica Retro, la prima nostra coda di rondine e alle Pow board iconiche che ne sono seguite, tutte influenzate dal suo stile. Il risultato è una macchina da powder con una coda larga e shape voluminoso, pensato per galleggiare e scivolare fluido, ma con un flex moltreattivo che garantisce stabilità nei drop, alle alte velocità e anche nei tracciati un pò più rovinati di fine giornata. È una limited edition, quindi non puoi assolutamente fartela scappare, o ora o mai più!

Da anni prendevo appunti, buttavo giù idee, sognando di dare nuova vita alla coda di rondine del ’95. Con il ritorno delle shape old-school negli ultimi anni, ho capito che era il momento giusto. E sapevo subito che lo volevo fare con Tommy e Nitro. 30 anni fa abbiamo alzato l’asticella con la 196cm… ora tocca rifarlo. Con il vibe di Little Cottonwood Canyon e tutto l’amore per lo snow che ci scorre ancora dentro!

Tech Details

Tapered Swallowtail

The full width nose and narrower tail of our Tapered Swallowtail shapes make the board float evenly through the fluffiest of pow and cut through the occasional crust, while the deeply cut swallowtail reduces the rearward board surface even more for improved control and reduced rear leg burn.

Cam-Out Camber

Our Cam-Out Camber is basically a Trüe Camber with early and smooth transitions into tip and tail. The result is a fun and responsive board that turns on the spot and is forgiving, even after that 713.5° landing!

Standard Core Profile

Like a well-designed bow, the Standard Core Profile has a thicker part in the middle - from first insert to last – while thinning gradually towards the contact points, providing the ultimate in speed stability and edge control.

Mid-Wide

Mid-Wide boards provide that little extra in width for less toe and heel drag, additional flotation and that extra bit of confidence when leaning into these power carves on icy slopes.

Progressive

A larger radius in the front, blended into a tighter one towards the tail: The Progressive Sidecut makes accelerating out of turns a breeze, while maintaining a catch-free nose area.

Soletta Sintered EcoSpeed HD

Utilizing a recycled material compound, we have been able to achieve the same abrasion resistance, increased wax absorption and on-snow speeds with our Sintered EcoSpeed HD base as on other comparable sintered bases.

Lamine in acciaio riciclato

50% recycled steel edges are standard on all boards. They are strong, durable, and can be sharpened multiple times.

Bi-Lite Laminates

Our rider-trusted Bi-Lite Laminates are engineered for unrivalled strength, powerful style and refined board-feel.

Powercore II

The Powercore II is a tip-to-tail poplar wood core with additional beech wood stringers for unrivalled strength, smooth response, and insane pop.

Fianchetti in ABS

Our ABS sidewalls are made from 35% recycled polymers and are designed to be cold-resistant and durable.

Ecopoxy33

Ecopoxy33 is our bio-based epoxy resin that reduces the carbon footprint of our boards.

Topsheet EcoGuard

Our Ecoguard Topsheet is made from 90% recycled materials and provides a transparent, durable finish.
