Air Dampening

Nitro’s Air Dampening is the lightest shock-absorbing technology on the planet, it absorbs hard landings and keeps your heels from getting bruised. This noticeable difference in ride and comfort does not sacrifice any response and control while allowing you to ride longer.

3° Canted Footbed

The canting puts your knees and body in the most natural and ergonomic position on the board. So, stay out longer and ride longer!

3D OptiFrame Locked Down Strap

An ergonomically injected molded 3D strap provides an evenly distributed responsive pressure.

Co-developed with VIBRAM, known for their high-performance rubber outsoles, we designed a toe strap that combines the shape and feel of our Übergrip toe strap concept with the sticky ECO STEP rubber from VIBRAM. As a result, the strap adapts to any boots-to-box shape while the rubber keeps it in place, no matter how hard you stomp your landing, whether wet or freezing.

Cable Reinforced Connectors

Nitro’s Cable Reinforced Connectors feature internal stainless-steel cables running through the binding ladder straps for added strength, reduced stretch, and dependable durability.

Universal Mini Disc

Nitro’s Mini Disc offers a smaller footprint for more natural board flex. The snap feature lets you set and lock your binding angle for quick, consistent mounting every time. Compatible with the Burton Channel® system.
