Travailler avec Nitro sur le design de la Mercy est la réalisation d’un rêve de longue date. Originaire de Vancouver, au Canada, j’ai grandi en ridant sur le Mont Seymour et Blackcomb dans les années 90. On peut dire que j’ai été gâté, passant chaque instant possible à rider ces montagnes avec mes meilleurs amis.
Pourtant, ce n’est qu’après une décennie passée à Barcelone, Amsterdam et Lisbonne que j’ai vraiment compris la chance que j’ai de pouvoir appeler cette région « chez moi » et de considérer ces montagnes comme mon sanctuaire. Le design de la Mercy reflète mon amour du snowboard, ma pratique artistique explorant les aspects plus sombres de la vie et de l’amour, ainsi que la touche ludique que j’aime y apporter.

Tech Details

Twin

Twintips are the standard when it comes park and urban riding. Their identical tip and tail shapes, combined with a fully centered stance and flex pattern allow you to set up your tricks standard or switch in exactly the same way.

Cam-Out Camber

Our Cam-Out Camber is basically a Trüe Camber with early and smooth transitions into tip and tail. The result is a fun and responsive board that turns on the spot and is forgiving, even after that 713.5° landing!

Whiplash Core Profile

Our Whiplash Core Profile features reduced thickness between the inserts with added meat outside your feet for maximum ollie power, while maintaining a perfect press flex.

Standard

Standard Width boards offer the best in edge-to edge quickness and response while still providing enough platform for average boot sizes.

Dual Degressive

The Dual Degressive Sidecut blends a smaller radius in the center with two larger ones in the tip and tail, making it loose and playful. Nitro´s most forgiving sidecut.

Premium Extruded FH Base

Durability, speed and low maintenance all in one ultra-clear base material - our FH Base takes the abuse of any riding style – from the big mountain to the streets like no other.

Recycled Railkiller Edge

Our Railkiller Edge is now made from 50% recycled steel. Twice as thick and twice as strong as a standard edge, it is built for durability and performance.

Our rider-trusted Bi-Lite Laminates are engineered for unrivalled strength, powerful style and refined board-feel.

Powercore II

The Powercore II is a tip-to-tail poplar wood core with additional beech wood stringers for unrivalled strength, smooth response, and insane pop.

Ureshred Sidewalls

Just like Skate wheels and bushings, our Ureshred sidewalls are made from Polyurethane, which makes them highly resistant against impact and abrasion as well as giving them excellent dampening characteristics.
